Drug peddler arrested with ‘ganja’ in Jammu

Jammu, Aug 22: A drug peddler was today arrested with contraband of ‘ganja’ in this winter capital of the state.
“Acting on tip off, a pedestrian was intercepted this afternoon at Sunjuwan and during frisking, Six-kg ganja (opium) was recovered from his possession,” police here said.
They said that the arrested person was identified as Sham Vishwal, son of Inder Muni Vishwal, resident of Utterhona, District Puri, Orissa, at present living in Sunjwah Morh, Bhatindi.
He had to sold narcotics among youth of the area, police said adding that a case under NDPS Act has been registered and investigation started.
