BSF, Pak Rangers hold flag meet

JAMMU: The BSF and Pakistani Rangers today discussed firing and border issues at a flag meet held on international border in Samba district.
“On Pakistan Ranger’s request, from 1100 hrs to 1200 hrs, a Commandant-Wing Commander level Flag Meeting was held between Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers on International Boundary in Samba area,” the official spokesperson here said.
He said that during the meeting, Commanders of both the border guarding forces, inter alia, discussed various issues, including recent unprovoked firing, in Samba Sector and other routine issues related to border management.
