Jat Sabha honours MLC Vikram Randhawa

JAMMU, JUL 2: All J&K Jat Sabha today honoured Ch Vikram Randhawa on being elected as Member of Legislative Council (MLC).
An impressive function was organized today by Sabha at R S Pura, under the presidentship of Ch Piara Singh to honour Ch Vikram Randhawa, newly elected MLC.
While speaking on the occasion, Vikram Randhawa thanked the biradari members for organizing a function to honour him. “I will work for the upliftment of the Jat community not as a member of the Upper House but as a member of the community” Randhawa added.
Randhawa said that he will leave no stone unturned to mitigate and highlight the problems of the Jat community. He urged upon the youth of the community to come forward and get unite for the upliftment of the community as youth can bring change. “I am ready to give last drop of blood from my body for the upliftment of the Jat biradari,” Randhawa maintained.
President and Ex MLA Ch Piara Singh in his address thanked the members of the biradari for extending him whole hearted support since last thirty years. “I have served the biradari sincerely and dedicatedly during all these years and have tried my level best for the upliftment of the community” Ch Piara Singh maintained.
On the occasion, All J&K Jat Sabha also honoured various civil and police officers.
Others dignitaries who were present on the occasion include Tirlok Singh Bajwa Ex MP, Manjit Singh, Ch Garu Ram (both ex ministers), T S Toni, Ch Jagar Singh, Ch Jeet Raj, Darshan Choudhary, Dwarika Choudhary, Rashpal Choudhary (Sitaram), Kamal Randhawa, Sonam Deep Singh, Dev Choudhary and others.
