LeT Commander Junaid Mattoo is ‘dead’

Srinagar, Jun 16: A top Lashkar terrorist Junaid Mattoo has reportedly been ‘gunned down’ by the security forces in an encounter took place at Idgah Mohalla in Kulgam district’s Arwani village.
As per police sources, another terrorist identified as Muzami has been killed along with Matto.
Based on the intelligence reports, the security Forces had launched a cordon and search operation in Arwani’ village in Kulgam when they come to know about the suspected presence of terrorists in the area.
Junaid Matto, a LeT commander, had been active for last two years and he was in the list of 12 most wanted militants by the army in the valley.
He was in the category “A” of the terrorist carrying a bounty of 10 lakh rupees. He was a resident of Khudwan village in Kulgam, and he believed to join militancy at the age of 18 years in June 2015′.
Matto was appointed as LeT chief of Kulgam district after his friend, Majid Zargar, the then chief of Kulgam, was killed by security forces in December last Year.
