Rich tributes to Rangeel Singh

JAMMU, JUN 15: The Antim Ardas in favour of former minister Rangeel Singh was performed at Gurudwara Guru Nanak Dev Ji Chand Nagar under the supervision of Mahant Manjit Singh of Sharomani Dera Nangali Sahib Poonch.
Many Ragis and preachers and leaders of various Sikh organizations from India and presidents of local Gurudwara communities of Jammu province besides leaders of political and social organizations participated in the Antim Ardas Samagam and paid rich tributes to Rangeel Singh.
Those who paid tributes included Manjit Singh, GK president Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Community; Tarlochan Singh, ex- Member Rajya Sabha; Dr Jaspal Singh, former Vice Chancellor University of Patiala Punjab; Sudershan Singh Wazir, ex-president SGPB and Chairman Sikh United Front and Baba Swarnjeet Singh.
The speakers highlighted the contribution of Rangeel Singh the welfare of Sikh community. Some personalities from USA, Australia, England, Newzealand, Canada, France and Nepal also participated in the Antim Ardas.
While addressing the Sangat, Mahant Manjeet Singh highlighted the services of Rangeel Singh particularly for the betterment of MBS Engineering College and Technology. Mahant promised to construct an administrative block in memory of Rangeel Singh.
