UDHAMPUR, JUN 15: District Development Commissioner, Niraj Kumar today chaired a meeting of the District Consultative Committee (DCC) and District Level Review Committee (DLRC).
During the meeting, the DDC reviewed the progress of KCC cases and stressed upon the concerned to ensure cent percent coverage of the scheme.
Detailed discussions were held on various issues like Financial Inclusion Plan of the district, Seeding of Aadhar card, Financial Literacy programmes conducted by the rural branches of the bank, Functioning of RSETI, Functioning of Financial Literacy Counseling Center etc.
The DDC also released ‘Annual Credit Plan’ for the year 2017-18′.
Regarding the financial inclusion plan of the district, the DDC was apprised that the banks have opened a total of 100169 accounts under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna (PMJDY) till 31st March, 2017.
Meanwhile, it was informed that a total of 102 financial literacy camps were organized by various banks till March 2017 and more such camps are being organized this year also.
Detailed discussions were also held on Prime Ministers Fasal Bheema Yojna. The meeting was informed that Reliance General Insurance Company Ltd has been notified for the implementation of the scheme under which the crops of Paddy and Maize would be covered. During the meeting, it was also informed that the district has successfully completed the target under PMFVY.
