Aggrieved parents protest against Convent school mgt, demand justice

JAMMU, JUN 5: Expressing their serious concern over the attitude the school management, the parents of Presentation Convent School Gandhi Nagar have accused the management of playing with the career of the students.
Large number of parents of Class 10th students assembled outside the school and staged a protest demonstration. Raising slogans against school management, the protesting parents alleged that the internal assessment being sent by the school to the CBSE was not as per the performance of the students which resulted into downgrading the annual performance of the students.
The students who have performed very well in the theory were not given good grade in the internal assessment due to which the result of 10th class, which was declared by CBSE on Saturday, was not satisfactory, they alleged.
Even the outstanding students were not given good marks in the internal assessment due to which their CGPA got affected, the protesting parents alleged, adding the blue-eyed students of the school management were given undue advantage and grade as per their choice which made the actual performers to suffer.
The parents asked the school management to mend its ways and demanded immediate redressal of their problems.
